The Crying Thief is an elite enemy in the Integrated Strategies game mode of Arknights, introduced in Mizuki & Caerula Arbor.

Description

A Perro who left his family to seek out a new life... but all that people know is that he is always weeping.

Does not deplete Life Points when entering objective point. Invisible. Attacks stun the target.

Overview[]

Obedient Perro. Invisible, attacks cause Stun, drops Treasure when defeated.
—Tooltip

An anthropomorphic Perro and a nephew of the Teary Detective[1] who develops a timid disposition after losing his job, leaving his family behind, and suffering from amnesia, the Crying Thief acts as a "bonus enemy" in which letting him into a Protection Objective will not deduct the player's Life Points and defeating him awards the player with a Collectible once the operation is cleared, thus taking on the Crying Thief is entirely optional in the event he spawns.

Although the Crying Thief has low stats outside of his above-average HP, he is invisible and will Stun friendlies for 4 seconds in each attack, making blocking him to remove the invisibility short-lived. Thus, the player should make use of burst DPS to take advantage of the brief time between the Crying Thief being blocked and regaining his invisibility, or by using sources of detection.

Appearances[]

Other than the above, the Crying Thief may spawn in any (Emergency) Operation after all other enemies are defeated, but never together with the Duck Lord and Gopnik.
