The Crystal Ball of Fate is a persistent token item in Fire Within the Sand.

Old Isin says it reveals the threads of fate buried in the sands, but all you see is your own face.
Usage[]
Gives the player a chance to receive Provisions upon clearing combat zones.
Obtaining the Crystal Ball of Fate is one of the prerequisites to start the Ending 2 and Ending 3 questlines. In addition, Old Isin will be present on the Black Market for several days and offers a fortune telling service to reveal the Lord Ameer's Attack's commander at the cost of 10 
.
Acquisition[]
The Crystal Ball of Fate is obtained as part of the main questline, specifically by talking with the Liaison in the Black Market and choosing "We won't be bullied!" when prompted.
If the player chooses "Can we really survive out here?" instead, Old Isin will appear in combat zones; talking to him and choosing "We'll find 'Sand Soldier' at Reefsteep." will have Old Isin give the Crystal Ball.
