Degenbrecher acts as the main boss of Break the Ice.
Description
- Three-time champion of the Kazimierz Major, a defective Leithanian unable to use Arts, a natural-born warrior—The Black Knight.
- Immune to Frozen and gains status resistance; ATK increases during snowfall and, when blocked, attacks against the blocker ignore a certain amount of DEF; [Swift Slayer] When blocked, bypasses the target and deals Physical damage to units along the path; [Brutalizing Blizzard] Deals Physical damage to units in the surrounding area; During her second form, gain Invisibility, attacks ignore more DEF and deal damage twice, [Momentum Murder] Whenever 25% HP is lost, clears the SP of all allied units in range and prevent the targets from attacking or healing for some time.

Although Degenbrecher has somewhat average stats besides her good ATK, she boasts an array of dangerous skills that prove why her reputation as the Black Knight precedes her:
- Has Status Resistance.
- ATK increased by 30% during a Snowfall, indicated by a fiery aura around Degenbrecher.
- The damage dealt by Degenbrecher to friendly units blocking her ignores 20% DEF.
- Brutalizing Blizzard: Degenbrecher slashes all around her, dealing Physical damage equal to her ATK to friendly units in a radius of 1.5 tiles around her, with a cooldown of 15 seconds from when she spawns.
- Swift Slayer: Degenbrecher dashes past the friendly unit(s) blocking her in a similar manner to to Crownslayer's blink ability, dealing Physical damage equal to 150% of her ATK to the friendly that blocks her before dashing. Degenbrecher will use Swift Slayer when she is blocked for the first time and every 30 seconds afterwards.
- When her HP reaches 0 for the first time, Degenbrecher will survive and revive herself by fully restoring her HP over 5 seconds, during which she is invulnerable and disabled. After being revived, Degenbrecher will enter the second phase (signified by her discarding her longsword for dual swordbreakers) and gains the following properties:
- Brutalizing Blizzard and Swift Slayer's cooldowns are refreshed.
- Invulnerable for 10 seconds after revival, indicated by a yellowish aura around her.
- Now becomes invisible.
- The Snowfall ATK buff is increased to 50%.
- The DEF ignore against the friendly blocking Degenbrecher is increased to 40%.
- Degenbrecher's regular attacks, Brutalizing Blizzard, and Swift Slayer now hit twice in quick succession.
- Momentum Murder: Whenever Degenbrecher loses 25% of her maximum HP, she releases a wave which completely drains the SP of all friendly units in a radius of 2.8 tiles around her and stops them from generating SP as well as disarming them (also stopping Medics from healing friendly units) for 10 seconds.
- Momentum Murder does not affect invisible/camouflaged friendly units, and will not cancel out active skills on the affected Operators.
- If a friendly unit affected by Momentum Murder is struck by it again, the debuff's duration will be refreshed.
