The Demolition Device is a deployable device in Arknights.
Demolition Devices will immediately explode when deployed, damaging and pushing back enemies in front of it. In addition, the explosion is strong enough to instantly destroy Tattered Pillars, which immediately causes it to collapse instead of putting the Pillar into the Damaged state first.
