The Direswine is an elite enemy in Arknights. It first appears in A Flurry to the Flame.

Description

A robustly built omnivore, with an impenetrable epidermis leaving them with few natural predators. Violent headbutts are both their method of attack and a habit necessary for suppressing the growth of their fangs.

Takes up 2 Block slots; Gradually accelerates when charging, dealing damage based on Movement Speed to any target it passes through or is blocked by.

Overview[]

A boar-like Terran animal that relentlessly charges at their prey and difficult to kill due to its thick hides, Direswines have significant HP and decent ATK in addition to being counted as 2 enemies when blocked, though they have no defenses whatsoever. To further compound their danger, Direswines have a nearly similar ability to Sarkaz Lancers where:

  • Their speed gradually increases as they move at a rate of ~33% every ~0.33 seconds, up to a maximum of 1000% or 3.5 tiles/sec..
  • Friendly units that comes into contact with a charging Direswine will receive Physical damage equal to 7× their speed at the moment, but each friendly can only be struck by the Direswine's charge once.
  • Should they are blocked, the Direswine's next attack will deal additional Physical damage equal to 5× their speed at the moment.

The above makes Direswines particularly dangerous if they are allowed to charge fast enough.
