Earthlings, technically Homo sapiens, also known as humans,[note 1] are an race of sentient sapient mammal alien species of great apes not native to the world of Arknights.

Hailing from planet Earth – the world where we humans live in – and representing Earth's native sapient humanoids as the name suggests, Earthlings differ from the Terrans in which they have rounded ears like some other Terrans but no bestial properties whatsoever and physically weaker. Nonetheless make up for it by their adaptability, craftiness, creativity, cunningness, determination, hardiness, flexibility, ingenuity, modularity, perseverance, resourcefulness, teamwork, versatility and tenacity against overwhelming odds compare to their Terran counterparts. Earthlings also have no aptitude to Originium Arts at all since the substance is alien to them, which they utilize foreign technologies and items from Earth not based or reliant on Originium.
Unlike Terra, Earth is a more-or-less stable, peaceful, and mostly healthy world, although localized conflicts and tensions as well as epidemics, pandemics and disasters (both manmade and natural) still happen from time to time in Earth's recorded history. Because of this, mature Earthlings such as the four Rainbow Operators who somehow teleported from Earth to Terra are usually appalled by its dystopian post-apocalyptic conditions and the otherworldly environments.
