Estelle is the only known Archosauria who have large horns, unnatural for her race. While at first glance this might be a result of Oripathy-driven genetic mutations, it turns out that she used to be a normal Archosauria who was abducted by someone named Danny Chip to be used as a guinea pig for human experimentations of unknown nature and purpose, which resulted in her growing horns. However, Estelle was deemed a failure and thrown out of the laboratories, and has since lived in the barrenlands together with a fowlbeast named Sir Cromwell.

Estelle attracted a lot of attention that often lead to weird exaggerations, such as being known as a heroine named Ash Princess and revered as an "Archosaurian war god" by some Rusthammer members. All this caused Estelle to suffer from sociophobia, eventually approaching Rhodes Island for treatment and counseling. In the end, Estelle becomes one of R.I.'s combatants and do her best in making friends there with mixed results.

Gameplay[]

Estelle is a 4★ Centurion Guard who specializes in AoE and Survival. As a Centurion Guard, Estelle has good HP and ATK, can block two enemies – three once she is promoted to Elite 2, and her attacks hit multiple enemies equal to her block count (despite what is stated in-game, Estelle does not need to block the enemies for her attacks to hit them; the enemies just need to be within her attack range), but this is offset by a high DP cost.

Estelle's playstyle is primarily focused on withstanding wave after wave of enemy attacks, which is supported by her talent Self-Healing that restores a portion of her maximum HP whenever an enemy in the surrounding tiles is defeated (even if Estelle herself does not deliver the killing blow), allowing her to be mostly self-sufficient. Her skills also improve Estelle's DPS further:

  • The first skill, ATK Up β, is an intermediate ATK buff that boosts Estelle's already high ATK further.
  • The second skill, Sacrificial Strike, greatly buffs Estelle's ATK but she cannot be directly healed by friendlies (indirect healing such as Bard Supporters' trait still heals Estelle) while active. Sacrificial Strike synergizes well with Self-Healing, since the buffed ATK allows Estelle to defeat her enemies quickly to restore her HP making the fact that she cannot be directly healed not a major problem, though its potential is limited by the fact that Sacrificial Strike has defensive SP recovery.

Estelle's first base skill, Focus β, increases the byproduct rate of material processing by 60% when she is assigned to the Workshop. Her second base skill, Solitude, increases her morale recovery rate by 0.7 per hour when Estelle is resting in a Dormitory.

Overall, Estelle's multi-targeting attacks and self-sustaining capability make her difficult to use especially early in the game due to the quirk related to Sacrificial Strike. However, should the player managed to make it work, Estelle can be counted on as a solid Centurion Guard to hold the line against weaker enemies.

Pros Cons
  • Good HP and ATK
  • Attacks hit multiple enemies equal to block count
  • Can block up to three enemies at Elite 2
  • Has good DPS with ATK Up β or Sacrificial Strike
  • Self-Healing restores Estelle's HP whenever an enemy in the surrounding tiles is defeated
  • High DP cost
  • Low DEF
  • Sacrificial Strike makes Estelle cannot be directly healed (but can still be healed through indirect healing, e.g. Bard Supporters' trait) while active, and has defensive SP recovery, making it slow to charge outside combat
