Similar to Light in Mizuki & Caerula Arbor, Collapse is a value that measures how much the surroundings have been influenced by the dimensional-warping Collapsals, which affects the run's environment by increasing the Collapse Level that makes it more likely for Collapsal Paradigms to occur upon receiving a Vision (see below).
Players start a run with 0 Collapse, which increases by the following:
- Choices in certain Encounters (varies with the Encounter)
- Certain Collectibles
- Losing Life Point(s) in an operation (+1, which is accounted for at the result screen)
- Entering the 2nd floor onwards (+3)
Certain Encounters and Collectibles can help the player in lowering Collapse.

Collapsal Paradigms[]

Collapsal Paradigms are completely detrimental effects which makes the run harder and either occurs or deepens whenever the Collapse Level rises; lowering it will cause a Paradigm to subside or weaken a deepened Paradigm.
Up to four different Collapsal Paradigms will ever occur in a run. Therefore, at Collapse Level 8, there will be four deepened Collapsal Paradigms.
In the table below, the normal Paradigm's information is in the first row, while the deepened Paradigm's is on the second row.
