Description
It was an afternoon many years ago, under the brilliant sun, the elder pushed a box in front of the young Liberi girl.
The girl had yet to wipe off the dust on her face. She was still unskilled in wielding firearms, even though other Sankta of her age had already used them naturally.
"Fia, I will not use excuses like our races’ differences to comfort you, nor will I claim like other bishops that the firearm is a privilege only to the Sankta. Practices make perfect, and you have almost reached there, no matter if it was your wish or not.
"But there is still another path, or rather another tool to help you advance. An old mechanist friend of mine left this box behind. He could no longer return to Laterano because he has disobeyed the Law."
"But, kiddo, the Law is not all we have. Don't look so surprised; no one would say that food and water are all we have, right? It's just that we require them to survive.
