The rerun of Heart of Surging Flame is identical to the original run (Part 2 in the Global server), but with the following differences:
- New interlude: OF-ST6 (accessible after OF-ST5 is watched for the first time)
- OF operation progresses are carried over from the original run (e.g. if the player had cleared OF-8 during the original run, then it will be already cleared during the rerun), but Extra Show operations are accessible from the start of the rerun.
- Main Stage operations cost more
Sanity but the 
Siesta Obsidian and Obsidian Festival Ticket drops are increased. - Siesta Obsidians and Obsidian Festival Tickets are no longer awarded from Daily Missions.
- Extra Show operations award less Obsidian Festival Token when cleared for the first time.
- The Siesta Obsidian milestone progress are reset but the requirements have been reduced (see below). This means that players who had progressed through the milestone during the original run can collect the Siesta Obsidians again in the rerun to receive the milestone rewards for the second time.
- The Capsule Machines are reset with the regular ones now contain less items and the sixth (infinite) one removed. This means that players who had used all regular Capsule Machines during the original run can use them again in the rerun to receive most of the items for the second time.
- Players who had obtained the Casual Vacation HDm06 outfit and Rhodes Island Modern Music Rehearsal Room parts from the Siesta Obsidian milestone and Capsule Machines will receive Intelligence Certificate in their place.
- The band choices are reset, but all three band-specific furnitures are now available in the Furniture Store for 500 or 3 instead of being awarded through the Siesta Obsidian milestone. Hence, the band choices now only affects the event menu's music.

Instead of re-running the Summer Guardians headhunting banner, a new banner is featured in its place: Unbound Reflux.
