Ifrit is a 6★ Blast Caster who specializes in AoE and Debuff. What defines Ifrit as a Blast Caster is that she has a linear attack range of four (five at Elite 1) tiles ahead and her attacks hit all enemies within the said range. This means that even though Ifrit's unusual range is difficult to be utilized effectively in most operations and her DP cost of 34 (from Elite 1) being one of the highest of all Casters and Operators, Ifrit's high ATK at the expense of high attack interval remains effective no matter how many tiles she hits; the following quote represents this well:

Burn one tile, nothing is lost. Burn two tiles, great. Burn three tiles, you won the game.
—YouTuber Dreamy[1]

Ifrit's skills focus on literally incinerating anyone standing in her way:

  • The first skill, Fanaticism, is an ATK and ASPD buff that is overshadowed by Ifrit's other two skills.
  • The second skill, Pyroclasm, causes Ifrit's attack to do more damage and reduces the DEF of enemies hit by a flat amount for a short time, as well as causing them to take burn damage (not the Elemental Damage) over time when it is fully charged, which can stack multiple charges at higher levels. Not only Pyroclasm improves Ifrit's damage output, it also makes the victims vulnerable to physical damage, and as such, it should be her go-to skill.
  • The third skill, Scorched Earth, constantly damages all enemies within Ifrit's range and lowers their RES by a flat amount, but drains her HP (which can knock her out) while active. Even though Scorched Earth cannot hit aerial targets, it is still effective when used against bosses and to make the victims more vulnerable to Arts damage (including Scorched Earth itself), but players should take caution to either support Ifrit with healers or not use it while she is at low HP.

Ifrit's first talent, Spiritual Dissolution, reduces the RES of enemies within her attack range by a percentage. This percentage is increased drasically with each promotion, up to 40% at Elite 2, which makes sure not even high RES enemies are safe within her range. Her second talent, Rhine Loop, periodically gives Ifrit 2 SP. Combined with her skills (especially Pyroclasm), Ifrit can easily deliver massive damage to just about every enemy with both of her talents.

Ifrit's BLA-X Operator Module, "Syntexis",[note 1] causes her attacks to do more damage against targets further away from her, up to 1.1×, in addition to increasing her ATK and ASPD; once upgraded, Rhine Loop now has a chance to give Ifrit an additional 5 SP.

Ifrit's base skill, Heat Charge α (Superheat Charge at Elite 2), increases Drone Drone recovery rate by 10% (15% for Superheat Charge) when she is assigned to a Power Plant.

Overall, Ifrit is an excellent Blast Caster with one of the highest DPS potential among all Operators in Arknights. When used correctly, Ifrit can burn even the toughest of enemies into a crisp with ease, and allow those who loved the smell of napalm in the morning to say "smells like victory".

Pros Cons
  • Attacks hit all enemies within range
  • Very high ATK
  • Longer attack range than other Casters
  • Spiritual Dissolution makes enemies vulnerable to Ifrit's attacks and other Arts DPS dealers
  • Pyroclasm lowers enemy DEF and burns them, leaving them vulnerable to physical DPS dealers
  • Scorched Earth lowers enemy RES further and deals continuous damage
  • Rhine Loop periodically gives additional SP
  • Very high DP cost
  • High attack interval
  • Requires careful positioning due to the linear attack range
  • Scorched Earth does not affect aerial enemies and drains Ifrit's HP over time, which can KO her
