A young Iberian Pythia apprentice of a Liberi keeper of an Eye of Iberia on the Rocky Coast, Aria was banished by her master after a tragedy that happened to him and had since travelled throughout Iberia to reactivate her Eyes which had been destroyed amidst the Profound Silence. While tending to one, Aria encountered Blue Poison and Glaucus and was accidentally struck by the former's poisonous bolts after being mistaken as an enemy. After being treated in Rhodes Island, Aria enlists herself to R.I. under the codename "Indigo", lending her aid as a caster and sharing everything she knows about Iberia's current status.
Gameplay[]
Indigo is a 4★ Mystic Caster who specializes in DPS. As a Mystic Caster, Indigo deals Arts damage to one target at a time with an attack range of 2×2 tiles ahead of her with a 1-tile extension up front that is extended to 2×3 tiles ahead of her at Elite 1 and a very high ATK at the expense of high attack interval on par with Splash Casters. When she is not attacking, Indigo periodically stores her attacks, up to a maximum of three, and the next time she attacks, all of the stored attacks will be released simultaneously; therefore, should Indigo store three attacks, she will attack in a burst of four hits on the next attack, essentially quadrupling the damage dealt!
Indigo's skills bolster her offensive capabilities and also provides some degree of crowd-control/stalling as well:
- The first skill, Lighthouse Guardian, alters Indigo's attack range to covering 4 tiles ahead of her and greatly reduces her attack interval, but reduces the damage dealt in each hit of her attacks while active. Lighthouse Guardian can be useful if the player needs to quickly take down an enemy where Indigo might not have enough time to do so due to her lower attack interval, especially if she does not store attacks, and can also be used to improve the activation frequency of Gentle Binding Gaze (see below). Notably, if Indigo do not attack while Fairytale Guardian is active, she will store the attacks at a rapid rate, which can be useful to build up her attacks to be used against priority targets.
- The second skill, Labyrinth of Light, reduces Indigo's attack interval and increases Gentle Binding Gaze's proc chance (see below) while active, during which bound enemies within Indigo's attack range will also take Arts damage by a portion of her ATK every half a second. The lowered attack interval allows Indigo to continuously bind her enemies while already bound ones will take Arts damage over time, weakening them for Indigo's burst attack once the bind effect wears off, giving Labyrinth of Light a great crowd-control potential and should be Indigo's go-to skill.
Indigo's talent, Gentle Binding Gaze, gives her attacks a chance to bind enemies which is improved when Labyrinth of Light is active, but she will not attack bound enemies. While the drawback might appear unhelpful at first glance, Gentle Binding Gaze allows Indigo to build up her attack charges while the enemy is bound and release it once they break free, and the low rate means that using Labyrinth of Light (see above) is a must to make the most out of it.
Indigo's MSC-X Operator Module, Staff Maintainenance Kit, allows her to store a fourth attack in addition to increasing her ATK and ASPD; once upgraded, Gentle Binding Gaze's proc chance is increased.
Indigo's first base skill, Poisoner's Friend, increases the morale recovery rate of an Operator whose morale aren't full resting in a Dormitory by 0.55 per hour when she is resting in one as well, which is further increased to 1 per hour if Indigo does so on Blue Poison. Her second base skill, Heat Charge α (Lighthouse Power Supply Module at Elite 1), speeds up the
Drone recovery rate by 10% (15% for Lighthouse Power Supply Module) when Indigo is assigned to a Power Plant.
Overall, Indigo is a solid Mystic Caster who can build up her attacks for devastating results if given the opportunity, which can also halt the advance of even the most unrelenting of enemies.
