Kroos is a 3★ Marksman Sniper who specializes in DPS and awarded as one of the first clear rewards of TR-8. As a Marksman Sniper, Kroos has an attack range of 3×3 tiles with a 1-tile extension up front which is improved to 3×4 tiles at Elite 1, prioritizes aerial enemies over ground enemies when attacking, and possesses good ATK, low attack interval, decent HP and DEF, and low DP cost relative to other Snipers.
Being a 3★ Operator, Kroos is stuck at the maximum promotion of Elite 1, making her unable to keep up with Marksman Snipers of higher rarity late-game. Despite her low ceiling, she performs surprisingly well by 3★ standards, which, combined with how easy it is to raise her, both in levels and only requiring a decent sum of 
LMD and materials as well as being available through recruitment (where she and Adnachiel is a common sight when the player picks the Sniper tag) for Potentials.
Kroos' skill, Double Tap - Auto, has her fire in a two-shot burst which deals more damage every several attacks. Even better, her talent Targeting - Primary gives Kroos a 10% (20% at Elite 1 Level 55) chance to do more damage when attacking. When both are combined, Kroos can surprisingly perform almost as well as her higher rarity counterparts, which is helpful especially for Doctors who didn't have many strong Marksman Snipers such as Exusiai and Blue Poison yet, allowing her to easily get the job done until better replacements are trained up to replace her.
Kroos' first base skill, Slowcoach, increases Factories' productivity by 15% when she is assigned to one, which is increased by 2% on each passing hour and caps at 25%. Her second base skill, Solitude, increases her morale recovery rate by 0.7 per hour when Kroos is resting in a Dormitory.
Overall, Kroos is a basic Marksman Sniper who can fill the said role well until her superior counterparts of higher rarity are available, but even then, she can still perform just as well, making her a popular addition to many Doctors' arsenal. Besides, Kroos' adorable attitude and famous catchphrase, "Ko~ko~da~yo!", is always a pleasant sight for every Arknights players.
