U-Official: Last All-Arounder Beauty Girl (UO) is a mini-game in Arknights that are available during April Fools from 2023 (CN)/2024 (Global).
Overview[]
In a break from Arknights' usual tower defense gameplay, UO is basically a Vtuber Btuber simulator where the player must guide Eureka aka. U-Official to catch various good content for her livestream, which can affect her entire Btuber career! Regardless, UO allows the player to add U-Official into their roster as well as maximizing her Potential and Trust.
A UO livestream is divided into two segments: footage capture and broadcast.
- The footage capture segment plays exactly as an operation would, with the following differences:
- Enemies and other Operators will appear at random; the former never attacks Eureka. Instead, they interact with the others in various manners from peaceful to violent, but rest assured that nobody is harmed in the making of this livestream (yes, we mean it)!
- The player must photograph anyone present by deploying Eureka (technically a deployable unit) in ranged tiles around the map and activate her skill when it is charged. In order to start the broadcast, Eureka must take at least 3 to 8 photos. Enemies are not appealing much as normal photos but Operators and peaceful enemy interactions appeals the most as rare photos, so be sure to time her shots well!
- Possible rare photo subjects will be marked in gold.
- Avoid taking photos of violent enemy interactions, as they will not be counted to the photos needed to start the broadcast!
- The segment ends after a period of time has passed or the player quits out of it. In both cases, they will start the broadcast if enough photos are taken, otherwise the photos will be discarded and not available for subsequent broadcasts!
- The broadcast segment plays out like that of a Vtube livestream in reality, where Eureka shares the photos she took with the viewers.
- There are three stats that the player must be on the look out for: Broadcast Stress, Viewer Reception, and Platform Revenue. Sharing the photos will affect any of the three stats depending on how good the photo is, and the stats will affect the broadcast's duration.
- Sometimes a viewer might make a highlighted comment after Eureka shares a photo, which slightly affects any of the three stats.
- The broadcast (and thus the entire livestream) will end when:
- 8 photos are shared, which completes the livestream. If the player only collects 3 to 7 photos, the broadcast will abruptly end after the last photo is shared and the livestream fails.
- Broadcast Stress, Viewer Reception, or Platform Revenue is maxed or bottomed out, which will complete or fail the livestream, respectively.
- The player quits out of the broadcast, which will fail the livestream.
Endings[]
A UO livestream have seven different endings depending on the result.
- Beware of New Financial Fraud: Complete a livestream due to maxed Broadcast Pressure.
- Nothing Could Stop Her Anymore: Fail a livestream due to depleted Broadcast Pressure.
- Stay Tuned: "Love, Livestreamer, and Fan": Complete a livestream due to maxed Viewer Reception.
- Conviction's Most Enjoyed Episode: Fail a livestream due to depleted Viewer Reception.
- One to Four, Four to Three, Three to Many: Complete a livestream due to maxed Platform Revenue.
- She Starts Wondering Who Has Spoiled Her Job: Fail a livestream due to depleted Platform Revenue.
- "Just Be Like That": The default ending if any of the other endings' condition is not met.
Achieving a new ending will improve Eureka's photography skills, lowering the chance that she fails to take shots and allows her to do so quicker. See here for more information.
