Factory Steel[]
All MB operations award 
Factory Steel when cleared, with more being given when the player clears the operation for the first time. Mansfield Daily Life operations only awards Factory Steel when cleared for the first time.
Factory Steels can be exchanged for various items in the Secret Channel.
The best Escape Plan operations to farm Factory Steels are MB-6, MB-7, and MB-8 due to their high 
Sugar Pack, 
Aketon, and 
Oriron Cluster drop rates, respectively.

Escape Plans missions give up to 1200 while first clear rewards of MB operations give up to 900 , thus requiring the player to farm an additional 3904 from MB operations.
Unlike previous major side story events, free-to-play players will not have enough 
Sanity to farm the Factory Steels needed to clear the Secret Channel, even if one saves two 
Top Emergency Sanity Potion given from Weekly Missions a week prior to the event. If this is the case, then one best prioritizes buying the following items, in the specified order:
- All five
Robin's Token - All Mansfield Prison Cell parts
- 3 stocks of Headhunting Permit
- 5 stocks of D32 Steel
- 10 stocks of RMA70-24, White Horse Kohl, and Sugar Lump
- 100 stocks of 5000 LMD
- 25 stocks of Tactical Battle Record
- 50 stocks of Strategic Battle Record
