Description
- Construction machinery attempting to protect Stitch Canvas, under the mistaken impression that he is about to be attacked. Before explaining what's actually going on, let's settle things with a test of strength first.
- While on the battlefield, increases the strength of all [Machina] enemies; attacks will deploy small drones that deal continuous Arts damage to the target for a period of time, prioritizing targets that are not already locked onto by these drones; periodically refreshes a shield that can resist Physical and Arts damage, and grants Invisibility to other enemies within attack range as long as this shield holds; periodically locks on to the friendly unit with the greatest number of units around it and continuously deals Arts damage in an area around that unit; periodically locks on to the friendly unit with the fewest number of units around it and continuously inflicts Stun in an area around that unit; when HP drops to 0, Stitch will appear and be Stunned for a period of time
Overview[]

One of Stitch Canvas' engineering drones with a surprisingly thick armor and outfitted with various advanced Durinese weapon and defense systems that carries him along with it under a mistaken belief that the young architect's life is in danger, the Materialist Antagonizer complements its significant HP and well-rounded stats with several powerful abilities, notably two based on friendly units' density.
- While airborne, the Antagonizer is immune to all disabling effects[note 1] and all Machina enemies have their ATK increased by 20%.
- The Antagonizer spawns with a barrier that absorbs 9999 Physical or Arts damage, which will be fully refreshed every 80 seconds (40 seconds at Level 1). While the barrier is active, all enemies in a radius of 2.5 tiles around the Antagonizer becomes invisible.
- The Antagonizer's attack summons small drones to lock onto the target (indicated by a red crosshair), dealing Arts damage equal to 20% of its ATK every second for 15 seconds, while will be refreshed if the Antagonizer attacks them again; however, the Antagonizer will prioritize attacking friendly units who do not have a drone locked onto them.
- Bombardment attack: The Antagonizer charges a red energy sphere for 3 seconds (indicated by a glowing countdown above it) before locking on to the friendly on the map with the most other friendly units deployed in the surrounding tiles to them. After locking on, the Antagonizer will strike the target with an energy projectile that deals Arts damage equal to its ATK to friendly units in a radius of 3×3 tiles centered on the target every 5 seconds, lasting until the Antagonizer is defeated or uses the bombardment attack again. The bombardment attack has a cooldown of 20 seconds from when the Antagonizer spawns and 31 seconds afterward.
- If multiple friendlies meet the targeting criteria, the Antagonizer will target the most recently deployed one.
- If no valid targets are available, the Antagonizer will target the tile it is currently on.
- Interference attack: The Antagonizer charges a yellow energy sphere for 3 seconds (also indicated by a glowing countdown) before locking on to the friendly on the map with the least other friendly units deployed in the surrounding tiles to them. After locking on, the Antagonizer will create an energy field that Stuns friendly units in a radius of 3×3 tiles centered on the target for 3 seconds every 5 seconds, lasting until the Antagonizer is defeated or uses the interference attack again. The interference attack has a cooldown of 35 seconds from when the Antagonizer spawns and 31 seconds afterward, and follows the same additional targeting logic as the bombardment attack (see above).
- When the Antagonizer is defeated, it will fly away as it drops off Stitch on a specific tile on the map if it hasn't reached it yet or on the spot otherwise, who is Stunned for 30 seconds after landing and moves along its route once he recovers.
- Stitch has the same HP as the Antagonizer, but with 200 (400 at Level 1) DEF, 10 RES, and a speed of 1 tile/second. He also does not attack, cannot be blocked, and are vulnerable to disabling effects.
