Meteorite is a 5★ Artilleryman Sniper who specializes in AoE and Debuff. As an Artilleryman Sniper, Meteorite's attacks do area-of-effect damage affecting enemies in the adjacent tiles to the primary target with a high ATK and long range of 3×4 tiles with a 1-tile extension ahead at Elite 1, or 3×5 tiles at Elite 2, at the cost of a high attack interval and DP cost, the latter of which increases in every promotion.

Meteorite's skills allow her to devastate groups of enemies:

  • The first skill, Buckshot, causes Meteorite's attacks to do more damage in a larger radius of 2 tiles from the primary target every several attacks. Due to its simplicity and straightforwardness, Buckshot should be Meteorite's go-to skill.
  • The second skill, High-Explosive Shell, is similar to Buckshot but functions differently; it is manually activated (requiring an enemy to be within Meteorite's attack range) with automatic SP recovery and higher SP cost, does more damage, and reduces the DEF of enemies caught in the blast by a flat amount for a short time. The manual activation and automatic SP generation might make High-Explosive Shell more difficult to use than Buckshot, but it can be preferred at certain situations due to the higher damage and DEF reduction, leaving its victims vulnerable to Meteorite's bombardment or other Physical DPS dealers.

Meteorite's talent, Blast Attachment Refit, gives her a small chance (15% at Elite 1, 30% at Elite 2) to do 1.6× damage when attacking or using skills. With Blast Attachment Refit, Meteorite can clear out a large group of weaker enemies in just a single blast, which is easier to achieve with Buckshot due to its automatic activation.

Meteorite's ART-Y Operator Module, Tag of Nameless, causes her attacks to ignore 100 DEF, in addition to increasing her maximum HP and ATK; once upgraded, Blast Attachment Refit's proc chance is increased.

Meteorite's base skill, Blasting Materiology α (Blasting Materiology β at Elite 2), increases the byproduct rate of upgrade material processing by 75% (80% for Blasting Materiology β) when she is assigned to the Workshop.

Overall, like other Artilleryman Snipers, Meteorite can be useful in operations featuring hordes of enemies, especially Annihilation, and she sets herself apart from other Artilleryman Snipers with the ability to devastate "soft" or "hard" enemies alike, thus making her effective in most situations.

Pros Cons
  • Attacks deal splash damage
  • High ATK
  • Long attack range, especially at Elite 2
  • Buckshot and High-Explosive Shell can easily clear groups of enemies, with the latter also rendering the enemies more vulnerable to Physical damage
  • Blast Attachment Refit gives a chance to do more damage on each attack
  • High DP cost that increases with each promotion
  • High attack interval
  • At Elite 1, Blast Attachment Refit is not as reliable due to the relatively low proc chance
