Arknights Wiki

Monster Siren Records (MSR), commonly known as Monster Siren or Siren, is a record label in the world of Arknights. Based in Columbia with the famous rapper Emperor as one of its producers, many renowned artists such as Alive Until Sunset and Sora belong to the MSR. They are described as having some "idiosyncratic" marketing tactics, notably by forming a "mystical rap/rock" band made up of five good-looking Lupus.[1]

Monster Siren Records (MSR), one of the world's largest music publishers in the tenth century in Terra. From heavy metal bands to the idol industry, MSR artists are involved in all aspects of music. According to the latest statistics, MSR occupies more than 30% of the music market in Terra.

Associated artists

Both Emperor and Sora are also part of Penguin Logistics.

Hypergryph releases all songs made for Arknights under the Monster Siren Records flag. They also made an official MSR website where many Arknights songs, both from past and future events (in the Global/EN server), are available for listening.

Later, Hypergryph (through a third party) made official accounts of Monster Siren Records in YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, and Apple Music. This is likely done to allow an easier access of their musics for Arknights players outside mainland China and in response to a YouTube account that monetized videos of Arknights musics taken from Bilibili without HG's permission which has since been taken down.[2]

Interestingly, although it is a common meme within the community that Hypergryph (through MSR) is a "music company," the music in Arknights appears to be exclusively composed by freelance composers external to the company itself, as will attest Operators' Themes, but also, surprisingly, the two in-game background music tracks that have been released on the label and thus received artist credit, Under Tides and Rewinding Breeze. Assuming that these two tracks are not an exception, this would mean Hypergryph does not produce any music in-home.
