The Mutant Rock Spider is a normal enemy in Arknights. They first appear in Operation Originium Dust.
Description
- A rock spider infected by an Originiutant. Due to their similar appearances, rock spiders are often mistakenly believed to be a close relative of Infused Originium Slugs. However, the latest research shows that they are two completely different species.
- Splits into 3 Originiutant Excrescences upon death
Overview[]
A rock spider – arachnids native to the dunes of Sargon that are confirmed to be unrelated with the similarly appearing Infused Originium Slugs – parasitized by Originiutant Excrescences, Mutant Rock Spiders release three Originiutant Excrescences when defeated (unless if they are being silenced at the moment), which can prove problematic if the resultant Excrescences are able to slip through defenses while the Operators are pre-occupied with other threats or unable to block them.
