The Nethersea Founder is an elite enemy in Arknights. They first appear in Stultifera Navis.
Description
- A Sea Terror that has inexplicably grown a chitinous skull. There is no corresponding organ to be found beneath it.
- Spawns "Nethersea Brand" at its location when defeated; Increased RES
Overview[]
A Sea Terror that resembles a hydra but with horned skull at the top of its body, Nethersea Founders have good stats in addition to dealing Arts damage in melee and inflicting Nervous Impairment build-up equal to 10% of their ATK in each attack (these are not stated in-game, however), as well as having the following abilities:
- A RES increase of 60, similar to Refraction but cannot be Silenced, which gives the Founder a total of 90(!) RES, making Arts damage all but ineffective against the Founder.
- Spawns a Nethersea Brand on the spot when defeated, unless if the Founder is being Silenced. This can be problematic if the Founder is defeated close to melee Operators.
