The Nethersea Predator is a normal enemy in Arknights. They first appear in Stultifera Navis.
Description
- A Sea Terror that has learned to use its chitinous skull to deal physical attacks, storing scraps of food in its body comprised of countless tiny creatures.
- Cannot be blocked while on "Nethersea Brand"; Gains Physical and Arts dodge (disabled by certain negative statuses)
Overview[]
A Sea Terror that is similar to Nethersea Founders in which it resembles a hydra but with a beaked skull at the top of its body and trading resilience for agility, Nethersea Predators are surprisingly fragile due to their lack of defenses, but made up for it by inflicting Nervous Impairment build-up equal to 10% of the Predator's ATK in each attack (which is not stated in-game, however) and the following abilities:
- Unblockable so long as the Predator is over Nethersea Brands, which allows them to easily slip past Operators if much of the map are infested by Brands.
- The Predator can dodge Physical and Arts attacks 80% of the time while not being Stunned, Frozen, put to Sleep, Levitated, Bound, and Silenced (contrary to what is stated in-game). This is one of the most effective sources of dodge in Arknights, which can render the Predator untouchable to all but True damage or dodge-ignoring effects.
