The Nethersea Swarmcaller is an elite enemy in Arknights. They first appear in Stultifera Navis.
Description
- A rare Sea Terror, able to manipulate the tiny creatures in the air and on the ground to eat away at their surroundings even in the absence of the nethersea brand. They seem to call the brand itself to life, hence their name.
- Continually inflicts Arts damage and Nervous Impairment in an area around it; Has status resistance and is immune to Slow.
Overview[]
A Sea Terror that appears like a walking jellyfish and controls microscopic organisms similar to those in Nethersea Brands surrounding it as the means of self-defense, Nethersea Swarmcallers have high HP and good defenses which make them a tough nut to crack, but lack offensive capabilities aside of dealing Arts damage equal to their ATK and Nervous Impairment build-up equal to 5% of their ATK to nearby friendly units every second, thus taking out Swarmcallers from a distance with concentrated attacks before they can get too close to friendlies is the best measure against them. However, the Swarmcaller is immune to Slow and has Status Resistance which makes Negative Statuses last half as long on them, so don't bother using Decel Binder Supporters and Operators capable of inflicting Negative Statuses to stall them, though the latter disadvantage can be countered by equiping the Little Handy's Incremental Motion Firmware module with the Interdiction - Technique effect chosen.
