Integrated Strategies #2: Phantom & Crimson Solitaire, often simply known as Integrated Strategies 2 (IS2) or Phantom and Crimson Solitaire (Crimson Solitaire or PCS for short), is the second season of the namesake roguelike game mode in Arknights.

Crimson Solitaire introduces new mechanics that becomes the future standard of I.S., notably the fact that the game mode is now permanently available, as opposed to the first tentative iteration of I.S. in Ceobe's Fungimist which lasted three weeks.

In August 2, 2022, an official website of Phantom & Crimson Solitaire in the Global server is introduced.

The courtyard is filled with the sunset's afterglow, yet that is not the color of hope. Come in, come in, esteemed guests who have wandered astray. The castle welcomes you.

The castle has numerous trials in store for its visitors, and you are unable to pay the price of failure.

As the mist spreads into the castle and the vines make their way up the columns, the dark night appears to have retreated elsewhere for the moment. Do remember as you enjoy this moment of respite, however, that darkness is always right around the corner.
Failure
As you succumb to the dark shadows, you too will become part of the history of this place.

Nightmare's Prelude

Darkness falls, the candles throughout the deserted castle begin to light up by themselves, and the silent Nightzmora begins to roam the shadows in search for prey who have lost their way.
Failure
The candle flames flicker ceaselessly, just as you yet remain in this old castle. You surrender to your endless nightmares, never to awaken again.

Blood-soaked Corridor

Blood moons often signify the beginning of unfortunate tragedies in written accounts, and this omen is now shining down upon us through the windowpanes that line the corridor.
Failure
What will emerge beneath the blood moon? Panic? Fear? Frantic wailing? So be it. You have experienced it all.

Hall of Desires

The purest and truest desires, standing above all time, have engulfed this space whole. Here, there is nothing but the endless thirst for aesthetics, fine arts, and perfection.

Chapter VI is only accessible by clearing Chapter V while having Abrupt Realization.png Abrupt Realization.

Result

When a Crimson Solitaire run ends, the ending will be shown if the run is completed; if the run fails, the "Reverberation" message is shown instead.

Afterwards, the credits (which can be skipped) will roll, showing the player's nickname under the title "Blood Diamond" and lists their actions in each Chapter they have entered throughout the run.

Expansion I

Crimson Exhibition

The Crimson Exhibition allows the player to view the content of Crimson Solitaire they have unlocked thus far. It is divided into five sections:

  1. Communication Recorder: A log of Crimson Solitaire Monthly Squads' conversations.
  2. Past Performances: A gallery of Crimson Solitaire artworks.
  3. Phonograph Collection: A jukebox of Crimson Solitaire soundtracks.
  4. Longevity Box: A list of Crimson Solitaire Collectibles. Collectibles that are not yet unlocked will be named "???" instead until the condition is met, at which their name is revealed but their picture will only be revealed when they are actually obtained in-game.
  5. Loose-Leaf Repertoire: A list of Crimson Solitaire Plays the player have obtained.
  6. Tactical Prop: A list of Crimson Solitaire Tactical Props the player have obtained.
