Pinch-Out (P-O) is a game mode in Arknights, acting as one of the replacements of Contingency Contract.
Overview[]
As with C.C., Pinch-Out is accessible once 2-10 is cleared.
What sets P-O apart from C.C., however, is that instead of freely selecting Contracts to apply the handicap, the player complete a horizontal network leading to the Pinch-Out operation to apply the handicaps, hence the handicap management is easier than C.C..
Each operation network consists of one Starting Point and a series of Test Indicators basically acting as P-O's equivalent of C.C.'s Contracts connected by Routes, in addition to the following special nodes:
- Ingot Showroom: Gives out rewards once Test Indicators linked to it is completed.
- Combat Mission: Gives out rewards once a certain task tied to it is completed.
- Test Field: A separate network containing additional Test Indicators and Combat Missions, which unlocks new Test Indicators on the main network and gives out rewards once the Combat Missions on it are completed.
- Fragmentary Crystals: Gives out rewards once all Test Indicators linked to it are completed at the same time.
