• Hypergryph stated that Purestream will be added into recruitment at a later date after Living With All ends, which she does at A Walk in the Dust about one year later. This is possibly due to licensing with WWF.
  • Because of this, Purestream is added to recruitment in the Global server's 2.5th anniversary (Invitation to Wine) instead, 1 year and ~3 months after Coexistence.
• Purestream has the traits of a Yangtze finless porpoise (Neophocaena asiaeorientalis) – not to be confused with the possibly extinct baiji (Lipotes vexillifer), with two of them being present in her Elite 2 artwork.
  • The Yangtze finless porpoise is one of the endangered animals which became the focus of the Living With All event where Purestream is introduced in the CN server.
  • Living With All's collaboration materials listed the scientific name of the Yangtze finless porpoise as Neophocaena phocaenoides, which actually refers to the Indo-Pacific finless porpoise. This is because at the time the event was released, whether N. asiaeorientalis (then known as N. a. asiaorientalis) is of the same species with N. phocaenoides or not remains a subject of debate.
  • Her birthdate, October 24, is the date for the International Freshwater Dolphin Day.
  • This makes Purestream the only cetacean Aegir alongside Skadi (the Corrupting Heart) and the only mammalian member of her race alongside Pudding and Skadi (the Corrupting Heart).
• As Purestream was not released in the TW server by the time A Light Spark in Darkness was released there, this resulted in a game-breaking issue; for further information, see TB-9's trivia.
  • In May 6, 2023, Purestream is finally announced to be released on TW as part of a collaboration with WWF in the future. Before this, Purestream was then the only Operator that is unavailable in a particular Arknights server (TW).
