The Rotchaser is an elite enemy in Arknights. They first appear in Episode 11.
Description
- Originium Arts creation of the Nachzehrer King. Fast-moving, they do not understand the concept of healing. They exist only to create death, and the power of healing robs them of their powers.
- Fast movement. Attacks cause the target to take Arts damage over time. Effect removed when the target is healed.
Overview[]
An emaciated, ferocious, rotting creature created by the Nachzehrer King that can be weakened through healing Arts, despite visually resembling Hounds, Rotchasers have surprisingly high HP and decent ATK along with good movement speed, although their defenses are lacking and they move slightly slower than a normal Hound would.
When a Rotchaser attacks a friendly, they will also inflict a debuff that causes the affected target to take 100 Arts damage per second for 10 seconds, which refreshes every time the Rotchaser attacks the target. However, this debuff will be immediately removed if the afflicted target is directly healed, and it is also unable to directly knock out/destroy the afflicted target, instead leaving them at 1 HP.
