The Sarkaz Grudgebearer is an elite enemy in Arknights. They first appear in Darknights Memoir.
Description
- A Sarkaz mercenary. Their Originium-wracked bodies have become convenient tools in their operations, allowing them to unleash Arts without relying on a staff. Though they won't attack while on Standby, they will cruelly expend their own life to complete their mission once in Combat-Ready mode.
- Starts battle in Standby and does not attack; After being injured, this unit becomes Combat-Ready and deals long-range Arts damage to two targets.

A Kazdelian Sarkaz mercenary caster who used their own life force to fuel their Arts, making them unstable and violent, Sarkaz Grudgebearers are initially on the Standby state where they do not attack, but as soon as they take damage or when a Sarkaz Sentinel raises the alarm, the Grudgebearer will enter the Combat-Ready state where they will use a highly damaging Arts attack capable of hitting two targets within range at once and have their speed doubled. Sarkaz Grudgebearers are pre-spawned most of the time and often directly spawned on the map instead of spawning from Incursion Points; in both cases, the Grudgebearer will only start to move 150 seconds after they spawn or upon entering the Combat-Ready state, whichever comes first.
A combination of high HP and RES, and a strong, multi-targeting ranged Arts attack makes the Sarkaz Grudgebearer a highly dangerous elite enemy that can easily tear apart friendly units, especially those lacking RES. Therefore, it is highly recommended to eliminate the Grudgebearers one by one as they are usually spawned in groups.
