A Sargonian Pilosa and the only known representative of her race in Rhodes Island, Scene is known for her introverted and reclusive attitude as a consequence of bullying and ostracization from the others during her childhood. As a matter of fact, she turned to photography to cope with her loneliness together with a Raythean robotic camera buggy nicknamed "Lens", and become a renowned, award-winning photographer best known for taking pictures of ruined warzones to show the Terrans the horror of war. At one point Scene was caught in a Catastrophe, where she survived but accidentally contracted Oripathy. In order to treat her Oripathy, the Pilosa decided to lend her service to R.I. as a battlefield photographer and an ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) supporter.

Scene is notable for only speaking when necessary, where she utters each word very, very slowly; Lens speaks on Scene's behalf most of the time.

Gameplay[]

Scene is a 5★ Summoner Supporter who specializes in (obviously) Summon and (no pun intended) Support, and available in the Permanent Trade Center section of the Secret Sanctuary since Contingency Contract Blade for 300 Contract Bounty icon alongside her Operator Tokens (Scene's Token Scene's Token) for 100 Contract Bounty icon, 120 Contract Bounty icon, 140 Contract Bounty icon, 160 Contract Bounty icon, and 200 Contract Bounty icon. As a Summoner Supporter, having Scene deployed allows the player to deploy summons; in her case, she can deploy Mobile Buggy Cams through her talent Camera Squad, which costs 5 DP each and have decent HP and ATK, can block a single enemy, attacks enemy on the tile ahead of them (like most melee Operators), and reveals invisible enemies in the surrounding tiles, which makes them indispensable as one of the few ways to reveal invisible enemies without Detectors that could otherwise be problematic.

As with other summons, Scene's Buggy Cams are subject to the following rules:

  1. Scene have a limited number of Buggy Cams available for deployment (3 initial, 4 at Elite 1, 5 at Elite 2), which can only be replenished by redeploying her; retreating the Buggy Cams will not replenish their count.
  2. If Scene is knocked out or retreated, all deployed Buggy Cams will be destroyed.
  3. The Buggy Cams are counted towards the Unit Limit.

As with other Supporters, Scene's attack do Arts damage, but with a range of 3×3 tiles and a 1-tile extension up front at Elite 1 – similar to Core Casters. However, Scene is not meant for direct combat due to her below-average stats when compared to Casters, so she must be placed out of reach from ranged enemies who can easily dispatch her.

Scene's skills are all related to the use of her Buggy Cams:

  • The first skill, Protective Camouflage, permanently buffs the Buggy Cams' ATK and camouflages them once fully charged. Protective Camouflage can be useful to keep Buggy Cams safe from enemy ranged attacks (except AoE ones) and allows them to do some damage on approaching enemies with no fear of retaliation – essentially by "fighting fire with fire".
  • The second skill, Panoramic Overload, gives Scene an additional Buggy Cam when used and buffs the ATK, DEF, and RES of all deployed Buggy Cams, as well as extending their detection range to a radius of 2 tiles around them while active, but stuns the Buggy Cams for 5 seconds when it expires. With Panoramic Overload, Scene does not need to worry much on losing her Buggy Cams to enemy attacks and the buffs can also be useful to improve their detection, DPS, and survivability, but the drawback means that the player should use it with caution.

Scene's SUM-X Operator Module, Improved Lens.P, makes the first deployed Buggy Cam not counted towards the Unit Limit, in addition to increasing her ATK and DEF; once upgraded, the Buggy Cams will also slightly reduce the speed of enemies within their detection radius.

Scene's first base skill, Time-Lapse Photography, increases Factories' productivity by 15% and 2% in every passing hour, which caps at 25%, when she is assigned to one, with her second base skill Editing α increasing the Factory's capacity by 12 if it is producing Battle Records.

Overall, Scene is not like other Summoner Supporters; her ability to summon Buggy Cams are best used to detect invisible enemies which can and will spell out trouble to even the toughest of defensive lines, and while she can be used as a one-woman army like others, pulling this off requires great investment and practice.

  • Have below-average stats when compared to Casters, despite attacks dealing Arts damage
