The Siracusan Civilian is an allied unit (technically classified as a normal enemy) in Arknights. They first appear in Il Siracusano.

Description

These Siracusan civilians seem to have strayed into fighting despite having been evacuated along with the rest of the crowd earlier. For whatever reason, whenever an incident of any sort happens, everyone's wrath falls upon you.

Does not deplete Life Points when entering the Protection Objective; gradually reduces "Blood Debt" over time when on the field; however, increases "Blood Debt" by a significant amount upon being defeated.

Overview[]

A Siracusan non-combatant who were unfortunate enough to be caught in the crossfire involving Volsinii famiglia who sees them under their protection and can be out for blood when something happens to them, Siracusan Civilians will neither be attacked nor blocked by friendly units but will be attacked by ranged enemies (which ironically includes the Famiglia ones who were supposedly protecting them). Despite this, Siracusan Civilians will head towards a Protection Objective like enemies do; when a Civilian does enter an Objective, the player will not lose Life Points, but as they are included to the enemy counter (though not counted towards the number of enemies defeated for the purpose of missions' progression), the Civilian must be allowed to enter the objective they are heading to.

Ensuring the survival of Siracusan Civilians (who cannot be healed in any way) is not essential but recommended, since so long as the Civilian is present, the Blood Ledger will deplete itself at a rate of 1 per second, which stacks if multiple Civilians are present and can counteract the automatic Blood Debt generation; in the event a Civilian is defeated however, the Blood Debt will increase by 40.
