The Sniper is a normal enemy in Arknights. They first appear in Heart of Surging Flame.

Description

A basic ranged soldier. They have very long range. Their sniper rifles can launch special ammunition capable of stunning our Operators.

After two attacks, the next attack Stuns its target.

A basic ranged combatant that attacks from long distance. They can stun Operators after a few attacks.

A mercenary sharpshooter employed by various Terran factions including the Siestan security force, Snipers have a surprisingly long range and some RES due to their military-grade equipment, in addition to firing tranquilizer/paralyzing bolts every three attacks (indicated by their crossbow and its bolt glowing red after the second attack), which stuns the victim for 5 seconds; silencing the Sniper will prevent them from firing the stunning bolt and also freezes the attack count.

While not particularly dangerous on their own, Snipers can be a great hassle when paired with other enemies, as their stunning bolts can (and will) cripple the defensive line at the worst moment possible. It is recommended to either intercept Snipers before they can get into range of friendlies or use sacrificial units to draw their fire.
