Texas the Omertosa is the alternate 6★ version of Texas who is an Executor Specialist specializing in Fast-Redeploy and DPS and only available from the Celebration limited headhunting banners from the 4.5th anniversary (CN)/2024 Thank-You Celebration (Global) event; until then, she is only available in her own banner, Through a Path of Briars. Being a limited banner, the "pity" system from other banners are not carried over to Through a Path of Briars, which tracks the pity system separately; to compensate that, the Omertosa (along with Penance) have a 70% chance to be the 6★ Operator that appears in a pull, as opposed to other 6★ Operators' 50%, and can also be purchased at the Certificate Store for 300 .

Being an alter Operator, the Omertosa is subject to the following mechanics:

  • Both Texas and the Omertosa shares the same Trust, but have different Potential, skills (as well as separate skill upgrades/Mastery training), talent, and base skills (as well as separate morale).
  • Both Texas and the Omertosa have their own outfits and dialogues, and are available separately as the player's Assistant.
  • Both Texas and the Omertosa can be present on the squad or RIIC at the same time.
  • It is not necessary to add the original Texas into the player's roster first before the Omertosa can be added and used.

As an Executor Specialist, the Omertosa has a base redeployment time of just 18 seconds instead of other Operators' 70-80 seconds; combined with her low DP cost of 8 (10 at Elite 1), the Omertosa can be deployed, retreated, and deployed over and over again every time the situation calls for it.

True to Texas' past as a mafia enforcer, the Omertosa's skills helps her in making use of her short redeployment time to assassinate priority targets and disrupt enemy ranks, despite not specializing in Crowd-Control as the original Texas, and all of them lasts for a short time after the Omertosa is deployed:

  • The first skill, Silent Drizzle, buffs the Omertosa's ATK and causes her attacks to Silence the target for a short time, during which the enemy will also receive Arts damage every second.
  • The second skill, Unrelenting Downpour, deals Arts damage to surrounding enemies and temporarily reduce their RES when the Omertosa is deployed, and buffs her ATK as well as causing her attacks to both deals Arts damage instead of Physical and hits twice in a quick succession for a short time after.
  • The third skill, Torrential Sword Rain, unleashes an identical attack to the original Texas' Sword Rain onto the surrounding enemies when the Omertosa is deployed, which deals Arts damage twice but only Stuns once. For a short time afterwards, the Omertosa periodically unleashes a lesser Sword Rain that deals lower damage and only Stuns the victims momentarily onto multiple enemies in the surrounding tiles.

The Omertosa's first talent, Texas Tradition, buffs her ATK when her skill is active and reactivates it when she defeats an enemy for the first time in each deployment in addition to fully restoring her HP. Her second talent, Texas Swordmanship, buffs the Omertosa's ASPD and reduces the damage she took until she defeats an enemy for the first time in each deployment.

The Omertosa's EXE-Y Operator Module, Blueberry & Dark Chocolate, increases her ATK by 10% when there are no friendly units in the adjacent tiles to her, in addition to increasing her maximum HP and ATK; once upgraded, Texas Tradition's ATK buff is increased.

The Omertosa's first base skill, Silent as a Sword, speeds up the skill Mastery training of Specialist and Vanguard Operators by 30% when she is assigned as the trainer in the Training Room; at Elite 2, it becomes Break the Shackles which also speeds it up further to 50% if the training is for Mastery 2.

Overall, for her extreme rarity, the Omertosa is more of a tactical instead of core Operator as with other Executor Specialists, primarily specializing in taking out single targets with brutal efficiency, though she can also provide some crowd-control support as with the original Texas when necessary. You want someone to get iced? Say hello to our little friend, Texas!

Pros Cons
  • Has a redeployment time of 18 seconds instead of other Operators' 70
  • Low DP cost
  • Silent Drizzle is effective for suppressing enemies with dangerous abilities
  • Unrelenting Downpour is effective for eliminating targets with high DEF and, to some degree, RES
  • Texas Tradition reactivates the Omertosa's skill after she defeated an enemy for the first time in each deployment
  • Torrential Sword Rain is a solid crowd-control skill
  • Texas Swordsmanship buffs ASPD and reduces damage taken until the Omertosa defeated an enemy for the first time in each deployment
  • Can be obtained and used even if the player does not have Texas in their roster
  • Only available in the Celebration limited headhunting banners from 4.5th anniversary (CN)/2024 Thank-You Celebration (Global) and Through a Path of Briars; the Omertosa will not be available from any other headhunting banners
  • Lack defensive capabilities
  • The HP restoration effect of Texan Tradition only works if an enemy is defeated
  • All of her skills deal Arts damage, which are less effective against enemies with high RES
  • Torrential Sword Rain is less useful against enemies immune to Stun
  • Texas Swordsmanship only lasts until the Omertosa defeated an enemy for the first time in each deployment
