Ulpianus is an NPC in Arknights. He is one of the supporting characters in Stultifera Navis.
Background
Ulpianus is the Third Commander of the Abyssal Hunters who was thought to have died during the great assault onto Ishar-mla many years ago. However, not only did he survive the massacre, but he also uncovered the mystery of the Seaborn. He found himself inside an ancient ruin within the abyss where he witness numerous Seaborn "Genesezoics". He also witnessed the moment Ishar-mla's blood fused together with Skadi's, turning her into Ishar-mla's vessel. As a matter of fact, Ulpianus remains cautious of Skadi and will use any method to prevent her from returning to her homeland so she can not destroy it through Ishar-mla's revival.[1]
During the time he was thought to be dead, Ulpianus uncovered more secrets from the insidious Church of the Deep after breaking into Cicero's laboratory. He learnt the Church's intention to revive Ishar-mla and their ultimate goal of bringing the second Profound Silence onto the entire Terra.[2] Ulpianus also befriended the legendary Last Knight whom he shares a common goal of defeating the source of the Seaborn.
