The Ursus Civilian is an allied unit (technically classified as a normal enemy) in Arknights. They first appear in Episode 08.
Description
- An ordinary Ursus citizen caught in the crossfire. A part of the cruelty and suffering of this world.
- Does not deplete Life Points when escaping, but will instead deduct 1 Life Point upon dying; Does not count towards the defeated enemies counter.
Overview[]
“ | Friendly Unit: does not deplete Life Points when escaping, but will instead deduct 1 Life Point upon dying; Does not count towards the defeated enemies counter. | ” |
—Tooltip (shared with Talulah, the Fighter) |
An Ursine non-combatant who were unfortunate enough to be caught in the crossfire between the past Reunion and the Ursus Army, Ursus Civilians will neither be attacked nor blocked by friendly units but will be attacked by ranged enemies. Despite this, Ursus Civilians still enter the map from an Incursion Point and head towards a Protection Objective like enemies do; when a Civilian does enter an Objective, the player will not lose Life Points, but as they are included to the enemy counter (though not counted towards the number of enemies defeated for the purpose of missions' progression), the Civilian must be allowed to enter the objective they are heading to.
The player must ensure the survival of Ursus Civilians, as they will lose 1 LP in the event a Civilian is defeated and they cannot be healed in any way!
Appearances[]
- In JT8-1, due to the cinematic nature of the operation, Ursus Civilians do not deduct Life Points when defeated.
- In Abandoned Mine, if an Ursus Civilian is defeated, the count of defeated enemies will be reduced by 1 in addition to deducting one LP as usual.
