Description
佣兵的行囊里有个夹层,夹层里放着平时不常拿出来用的东西。
流浪的年幼孩子在这里很常见,这片土地上多的是正在苦苦求生的生命。一个小女孩在向一群怪物哀求,希望获得一些食物。
“求求你们了,帮帮我吧!”小女孩说,“我会做很多事情,我能帮到你们的。”
怪物们可怜这个荒地上的流浪者,它们接纳了她,让她获得了一个可以容身的小窝。
“你们真好!”小女孩拿着自己小小的包裹,“我会打猎,我能给你们带来更多的食物。”
天开始黑了,天黑就代表着不安全,她缩在自己藏身的地方,看着外面的夜色。
“我们食物不够了,你说会打猎,现在快去吧。”队伍里领头的怪物披散着毛发,对小女孩说,“带回来更多的吃的。”
女孩一个人踏上了黑暗的旅途,夜色里所有的生灵都躲了起来,她一无所获。但是,远远地,她瞧见了一小堆篝火,一袋足够吃上几天的食物,和一个看起来很颓丧的佣兵。
“拿走它们。”这个念头出现在了她的脑海里。终于,她伸手勾到了那个小袋子,里面装的是她很久没有吃到过的,真正的食物。
去偷,去抢,怎么都好,拿到了才能得到怪物们的认可,拿到了才能一直在那里待下去。她紧紧抱着袋子开始逃。
佣兵在身后追赶,小女孩一路跑回怪物的队伍里,怪物们冲着佣兵伸出了它们的爪子。
想象中的哀嚎没有响起,佣兵似乎在大声地说着些什么,小女孩从篝火后探出身子。佣兵带着怪物们再次走入黑夜,短暂地离开后,他们一起回到了这里。
怪物们很是开心,它们发出庆贺的声音,从夜色里拉回来几车物资。四周的景色随着时间经过变得愈加黑暗,是时候休息了。
小女孩安心地躺下,佣兵承担起守夜的职责,怪物们庆贺后,也睡在了篝火旁。
她打量着这个新来的人,那个人也回看她,短暂的目光交汇后,小女孩翻过身去,闭上了眼睛。
怪物们已经发出睡梦中的呓语,佣兵往篝火里加了几根木柴。映着火光,佣兵打量着这个营地。
当篝火旁的声音只剩下平稳的呼吸,小女孩睁开了双眼。
当篝火旁的声音完全消失后,小女孩从藏身处探出身来。
“配合得很好。”佣兵的手里握着刀,刀上沾着黏稠的红色液体。小女孩环顾四周,打量着这个营地。
她找了一个还算干净的地方坐了下来,佣兵把东西往他们的营地搬运,她一个人看着月亮。
“......叛徒!”角落里仅剩的怪物冲了出来,它发出意义不明的声音,喘着粗气,和小女孩扭打起来。
“这样下去我会死的。”小女孩没命地挣扎起来,“我不能死。”
小女孩的包裹散了个口子,刀片割开手中的小袋划破了她的手,她捏住这块刀片,往黑夜里刺了过去,直到怪物再也拿不住手里的武器,粘稠的、红色的液体淌在了地上。
