A Zhayedan acts as a boss enemy in the Reclamation Algorithm game mode of Arknights and one of the bosses of Fire Within the Sand under the name "The Immortal".
Description
- A warrior of unknown background who wears exquisite but tattered armor. He strides forward, sand cupped within his hands, no longer responsive to anyone.
- Normally does not attack, but counters when attacked. Recovers a percentage of its own HP when a friendly unit is retreated or defeated within range
Overview[]
The Immortal starts in a passive state and will enter an active state when attacked, at which he will go after the attacker and return to his passive state if not attacked for 20 seconds.
If the player wishes to defeat the Immortal (and obtain high-quality resources in the process), note that he lives up to his terrifying reputation with monumentally high HP and ATK coupled with good DEF, allowing him to defeat nearly all friendlies in a single blow while withstanding tremendous amounts of harm. However, the Immortal has an extremely slow attack interval (the slowest of all enemies tied with Mudrock Colossi) and nonexistent RES (as opposed to what his stat rating implies) that makes him highly vulnerable to Arts damage, as well as a vulnerability to Negative Statuses and debuffs. To amplify his terrifying prowess, the Immortal has both a melee and ranged attack:
- If the target is on a ranged tile, the Immortal fires a ranged sand blast dealing Physical damage equal to 40% of his ATK. Despite the lower damage, due to the already staggering ATK, the ranged attack is still strong enough to knock out most ranged Operators with one hit.
- If the target is on a melee tile, the Immortal will use a melee axe swing that deals full damage.
When an Operator is knocked out or retreated within the Immortal's attack range (which is shown as a black ring around him), he will recover 2% of his maximum HP. Thus, it is imperative to make sure Operators that engage the Immortal at close range can deal more damage than the healing amount before being knocked out, lest the Immortal undo the player's hard-fought progress.
